In general terms what you can expect from silver is a very relaxed sound, with much atmosphere and spatial detail. The treble in particular should be at the very least very good, but more probably excellent in both detail and extension.

In addition, modulation effects due to microphony are all but eliminated by cotton fibre filler and the soft PVC outer jacket and then, to ensure an extremely uniform, refined and dense microstructure with vastly improved mechanical properties, the cable is then deep cryogenically treated (DCT).

DCT treatment is the process of cryogenically cooling a material over a measured period of time. The process is described in these terms since typically temperatures approaching -200C are achieved, and this occurs over a period extending to days rather than minutes or hours. All stages of the process, from the initial slow cooling to the prolonged soak at minimum temperature, through to a carefully staged return to ambient temperature are achieved with precision measurement, and computer control.

Specifically, for non-ferrous metals (such as Monocrystal™ copper and silver)- 'Sub zero treatment of the material at these temperatures results in reduced residual stresses in both conductor and dielectric. Deep cryogenic treatment at temperatures of -185'C further enhances the materials properties. By slowing down atomic movement, the internal molecular bonding energy is increased which promotes a pure structural balance throughout the mass of the material. The end result being a material with an extremely uniform, refined and dense microstructure with vastly improved properties.

The NuDiva comes pre-terminated with ecosse patented MACH1 silver-plated all-Cu RCA plugs. Lead-free Supersolder™ and passive organic flux are used for the joint resulting in an ultra low impedance termination with very high strength and durability.

The greater strengths of its 1.5 sq mm perfectly circular solidcore conductors provide the solution to this problem.

The occupation area for the mid and high frequency signals in a solidcore conductor is greater than a stranded conductor of similar X-section, therefore resistance is reduced and delivery of high frequency information is improved and even extended. Low DC resistance meanwhile maintains low frequency extension and control, presenting it with weight, speed and perfect pitch accuracy. Unique to Atlas, the Mavros interconnect uses a new microporous PTFE dielectric together with OCC copper conductors which are manufactured using the highest-quality technique for drawing copper. "Ohno Continuous Casting" or OCC has one grain in about 700 feet of conductor, so the audio signal travels through a continuous conductor instead of traversing grain boundaries. The copper itself is of the highest purity; equivalent to 7N or 99.999997% pure.

要发烧，线材少不了。如只求效果而不计成本，发烧友可选择的线材可谓不计其数。如既要讲求效果又要控制成本，那么于2002年在英国创立的ATLAS Cables所制作的线材，就成为余下不多的选择了。

         ATLAS Cables自创立以来，一直从事音频信号线、数位信号线、喇叭连接线和接插配件的开发研究、生产制作和产品销售。ATLAS Cables旗下大部分产品外观较为朴素，绝大部分线身的最外面只包覆了很容易被误认为是普通塑胶的特富龙保护套管，难以在相见的第一时间抓住较为重视外观卖相的发烧友眼球。即使这样，ATLAS Cables旗下产品那优选的用料、精良的造工和良好的效果，受到资深音响器材评论家和相当大一部分经验丰富发烧友的认可和赞赏，加上具有相对低廉的亲民售价，使得ATLAS Cables成为Hi-Fi乃至Hi-End线材厂牌中一支实力不容忽视的新军。

         ATLAS Cables旗下线材所用的大部分传输导线，以OCC（Ohmo Continuous Cast，大野长结晶连续冶炼）技术生产出来、纯度高达99.9999%的单个连续金属铜结晶体、也就是单结晶铜OCC Cu，通过挤压拉丝工艺，制成最大长度可达700英尺的单个连续金属铜结晶体幼细铜导线，其内部没有妨碍电流传导的晶格间交界与逢隙，电流因此得以顺畅地通过而不被阻碍衰减。将多股单个连续金属铜结晶体幼细铜导线以机械方式进行绞合，就制成了传输导线。将绝缘性能优秀、分子排列整齐而具有优秀的极化特性、分布电容极小的特富龙材料作为绝缘体，涂覆在传输导线上，有助于电流信号在导体通过时使电子运动更为有序，可减少电流损耗，增强信号传导之效果。传输导线与插头采用压接而非焊接进行连接，通常线材无可避免的焊锡与插头触片之间的接触面，大大降低了信号在接触片之间的接触面上的损耗，信号中那些精妙渺微的细节因此得到最大程度的保留。

        本文的主角，直径为8.5mm的ATLAS Cables Mavros（聆静）信号线，是ATLAS Cables纯铜信号线的旗舰。它使用了由纯度更高并达到99.999997%（即所谓的7N）单结晶铜OCC Cu制成的传输导线，纯度比以往纯铜线所使用的6N单结晶铜OCC Cu更高。每条传输导线涂覆了两种不同的特富龙材料作为绝缘体，内层是绝缘性能已足够优秀的FPE特富龙材料，外层是经过最新改良、介电常数在1.3至1.5之间而与空气十分接近、特性非常理想的PTFE微细泡孔特富龙材料。这两项改进，可将传输导线中全频率段电流信号的整体传输速度提高85%，这意味着整个音乐频谱中、尤其是高频范围的音乐资讯完整性将得到最大限度的保护。更重要的是，全频率段电流信号在传输完成后依然能保持高度的一致，消除了相位差异而引起的失真。两条传输导线之间，使用了富于弹性具减震作用的纯棉纤维作为充填剂，可以有效地消除麦克风效应。以两条传输导线为圆心，用一层聚脂薄膜将两条传输导线包裹起来，之外就是两层用纯度为99.9997%的单结晶铜OCC Cu编织而成的同心圆铜网，可有效地遮罩外界的电磁干扰。铜网之外包覆着一层用PVC材料制成的护套，最外面就是以黑色纯棉纱编织而成非常致密护套。由纯度为99.9997%的单结晶铜 OCC Cu制成的插头，接触表面镀以纯银并具有自清洁作用，通过6个无压缩和表面镀银的齿状锁片紧紧咬啮着主导体，最终使电流信号以极低损耗更顺畅地通过主导体与插头触片的接触面。两条传输导体和双层遮罩同心圆铜网，与两端的插头形成了准平衡系统，可更有效地提升表现效果。ATLAS Cables Mavros（聆静）信号线，是执着不懈且精益求精之追求下的杰作。
     依照厂方的建议，我选用了同一厂牌同一系列的ATLAS Cables Mavros（聆静）喇叭线与之配套进行试听。播放由穆特和奥尔基斯合作演绎的《贝多芬：小提琴奏鸣曲全集》（编号：DG 457 619-2）这类小规模的室内乐时可以听到，小提琴和钢琴在音色上显现出极好的平衡度，音乐精致清澈而温润自然，说明从高频到低频的相位没有失真，保持着极好的一致性。琴弓、琴弦和琴身的质感准确鲜明，声音中蕴含的信息量极其丰富，甚至连演奏者手之运动而带动引发的空气流动也可以充分地感觉到，现场气氛浓烈而感觉十分真实，说明ATLAS Cables Mavros（聆静）信号线的本底噪音极低，所有微小细节都得以全面保留并得以最终浮现。播放梅塔指挥的《普契尼：图兰朵》（编号：DECCA 414 274-2）这类大规模的歌剧时可以听到，在动态很大的情况下，无论是歌唱者还是乐器，细节和平衡度依然保持得很好，没有丝毫的损失和压缩，音乐中细微与恢弘的对比是那样的清晰与美妙而更令人感动，上面的结论也再次得到了证明。

That was just the beginning, we're now proud to reveal the extraordinary Atlas Asimi interconnect. Building on the work that led to the Mavros design, the Asimi adopts the same World-leading construction, but with the added benefits of pure silver conductors, manufactured using the highest-quality technique for drawing pure silver. "Ohno Continuous Cast" or OCC, used in the manufacture of high quality Atlas copper cables, increases conductivity of the material, in this case pure silver, by ensuring that there is less than one grain or signal deleting crystal boundary in about 700 feet of conductor! OCC silver allows the signal to travel through a continuous conductor instead of traversing repeated grain boundaries - in other words, the signal has a faster, cleaner and more direct path to follow.

Our attention was once again focussed on the coating that insulates and protects the silver. The Asimi has these conductors enveloped in our new microporous Teflon dielectric. This new air spaced foam improves on the performance of the best solid teflon or PTFE insulators, by providing a 30% greater signal velocity and better integrity, particularly in the area of high frequency delivery. This is achieved because the new material has a dielectric constant of around 1.5 - significantly better than the 2.1 achieved by the more typical PTFE insulators which up to now were the best available in Hi Fi or audio visual applications.

The Asimi interconnect is supplied terminated with the patented Atlas direct silver plated non compressing, solder free, double screened, self cleaning, RCA plugs which are formed from OCC copper thus ensuring a consistent signal path. High quality, exclusive, solder free Atlas XLR connectors are available as an alternative.

The construction of the Asimi silver interconnect cable consists of a pair of conductors, each made up from six bundles of 12 mult conductor wires plus a thicker wire in the centre. Each bundle of conductors is insulated with a layer of microporous Teflon and surrounded by a FPE (Mylar) jacket which in turn is covered by a continuous Copper-Mylar electrostatic screen and a silver plated copper close weave shielding braid ensuring the minimal pick up of RF interference and noise. The outer sheath is made from hard wearing PVC covered by a decorative silver/white woven cotton.

The Asimi interconnect cable is designed to be 'invisible' - delivering performance comparable to no direct connection of the signal. The Asimi is an outstanding product, designed by Atlas to reveal the entire content of the recording. 进军Hi-End，表现令人刮目相看的参考级新作
Atlas Cables Asimi

        建基于苏格兰的Atlas Cables，是一所经营各式各类接驳线材的发烧品牌，旗下出品从5N OFC无酸铜的入门型号到采用OCC单结晶纯铜，实力不容忽视的高档次系列，可谓一应俱全，丰俭由人。数月前该社宣布推出一系列音效不但远超同门所有型号，实力足以挑战世上任何一款号称极品的超级武器Asimi，笔者最感兴趣的就是它的性价比，是否一如同门产品般优秀突出，故此一次过借全套Asimi讯号线和喇叭线进行测试。

包含两款讯号线和喇叭线
         Asimi系列可算是Atlas Cables屹立至今第一款攻占Hi-End领域的参考级出品，线身外套运用银和白两种不同色调棉质纤维编织而成，讯号线方面分别备有RCA和XLR两个型号，所有端子全属自家研发和制造的货色，运用螺丝直接收紧，无需依靠焊锡和电烙铁进行固定的传导部件，并用上了成本高昂OCC单结晶纯铜生产，在进行组装前还预先经过人手打磨及镀银处理，大大加强传送性能。至于线身直径接近20mm的Asimi喇叭线，不但配备特殊金属挖空而成，固若金汤的阻尼器，头尾两端亦同时装上严选UPOCC高纯度铜材精心炮制的Y型接驳端子。

成本较纯铜高昂百倍的OCC单结晶纯银线芯
        以我所见，Asimi线材系列的身价之所以较同门型号高昂甚多，全因Atlas Cables设计团队在开发过程中，用上了导电性能较纯铜更胜一筹，具备辽阔频率响应的OCC单结晶纯银线芯。引述官方网页所得资料，得知借助OCC生产技术的协助下，能将每个纯银结晶制造出长达700尺的线芯，个中好处既能彻底杜绝结晶之间所出现的临界失真，缔造更佳的保真度，唯独生产成本远比采用同等技术制造的纯铜高昂百倍，故此只有极少数甘于大洒成本的品牌才肯使用。股数方面，每条Asimi讯号线内藏两组，每组由六套各自包含12条OCC单结晶纯银线芯， 至于喇叭线产品则没有明确道出。

电介系数接近真空状态的绝缘结构
        务求让Asimi接驳线材体内那些得来不易OCC单结晶纯银线芯的真正魅力得以尽情发挥，经过长期间不断测试及聆听比较之后，厂方终于成功研发出一套电介系数接近真空状态，同时令传送速度大幅提升百分之三十的绝缘结构，就以讯号线为例，每组OCC单结晶纯银线芯将会被充斥着无数气孔的Microporous PTFE绝缘保护套所包裹，然后各自加穿FPE聚酯薄膜外套。透过精密仪器所录得的测量结果，显示这两种成本相当可观，质量恒久不变的绝缘物料互相配合下，能令线材的电感和电容量长期保持在极低水平，效果远比普通生产商所使用的Teflon铁氟龙出色得多。作为固定这两组导体的素材并不是一般泡状物料，而是不受温差影响的天然纯棉及具有避震功效的PVC管道。

覆盖面积达百分之百水平的双层屏蔽隔离装置
       凡是拥有基本电学知识的读者，相信必定知道导电性能越高的金属导体，越是容易受到外来杂讯的干扰，至于Atlas Cables开发团队为Asimi接驳线材所采取的对策，就是两层运用不同素材生产，覆盖面积达百分之百水平的屏蔽隔离装置，当中包括以红铜和聚酯薄膜所组成，专门负责对付静电侵袭的薄膜，还有运用镀银纯铜丝线编织而成的织网，以便阻隔寄生于大气电波之内，无处不在的射频及电磁波干扰。

器材清单
        在正式评论前，先介绍一下今趟所使用的监听器材，音源环节属于玩法层出不穷的瑞典XTZ CD-100多功能播放机，匹配扩音机乃内藏崭新供电系统的Linn Akurate Kontrol + Akurate 2200，参考扬声器是Harbeth Monitor 30虎纹黑檀版本配Sound Anchors专用脚架。顺带一提，我把全套Atlas Cables Asimi讯号线和喇叭线带回家之前，早已经过Audiodharma Cable Cooker 2.5煲线机进行为期72小时的run-in，确保线材的真正实力得以全面展示。

非常注重整体平衡度，充分发挥匹配器材实力
        快速地完成整个换线工序后，率先欣赏美国新一代色士风大师Steve Cole最新个人专辑《Moonlight》，我得指出Asimi并不似得那些同样采用纯银导体，一听便会令人立即上瘾，从此不能自拔的强烈味道，而是一款非常注重整体平衡度，充分发挥匹配器材实力的参考级出品，余韵弱音来得富庶持久，弹力丰富的大牛筋感觉烟韧，钢琴表现满带铿锵嘹亮的感觉。换入千呼万唤始出来，原版早已被炒至半天高的Joan Baez〈斗牛场〉《Diamonds And Rust In The Bullring》HQCD版本，随着Asimi的入替，整个演唱会的舞台仿如搬回家中，气氛感染力从未来得如此强烈，不同种类乐器的音色活于明确，触手可及的定位只觉清晰，主角随心所欲的老练唱腔更是表露无遗。

紧凑的音质密度，从不会有稀疏的感觉
        除了精确流畅的全频音色之外，我还发现卖相斯文大方，内藏OCC单结晶纯银线芯的Asimi接驳线材，处理大堆头爆棚作品亦非等闲之辈所能匹配，就以Erich Kunzel/Cincinnati Pops Orchestra《Round-UP》和Music of the Strauss Family《Ein Straussfest》两款Telarc出品的古典大爆棚为例，无论我把Linn Akurate前级的电平输出调校在那个档位，紧凑的音质密度从不会有稀疏的感觉，大细适中的结像聚焦合乎比例，动与静之间的对比同样明确，高人一等的分析力轻易将录音时所收录的微不足道细节一一重现眼前。其后我还欣赏了已故流行天王Michael Jackson采用双CD方式发行的《This Is It》，清晰的音场感觉安稳实在，倾巢而出的强悍动态完全没有丝毫的保留，敏捷的收放比起很多号称具备高瞬态特性的殿堂级出品来得更快更利落。

总结：纵使面对实力更强的产品同样胜券在握
        经过大半个月跟Asimi讯号线和喇叭线出双入对之后，我得承认多年来一直抱着务实营商态度，为全球发烧同好和爱乐之仕提供价钱克己优质接驳线材的Atlas Cables，同样具有实力制造出表现惊为天人，令所有对手刮目相看的参考级线材，其静若处子，动如脱兔的突出表现，足以令阁下投放大量资金入手的超级器材绽放真我风采，只要用得其所，并将它的优点全面发挥，纵使面对实力更强的产品同样胜券在握，正盘算换线升级大计的同好们，个人建议先抽空到代理的试音室，亲自感受一下Atlas Cables最新超级武器Asimi的威力才作定案。

云淡风清览胜境 听ATLAS CABLES Asimi顶级纯银信号线 文/陈澍翰 ATLAS Cables，是一家于2000年在英国创立的公司，专门从事音频信号线、数字信号线、喇叭连接线和接插配件的研究开发、生产制作和产品销售。它所制作的线材，具有设计周密素质不凡、声音表现令人称道和售价亲民、性价比高等特点。近期推出的ATLAS CABLES Asimi顶级纯银信号线，具有更优秀的素质和更极致的表现。         ATLAS CABLES不赞同在金属铜上镀银的电流传导方案，认为电流在2种不同导体上传导会产生传导速度差而造成电流的不同步，最终所再现的声音会因此模糊而失去应有的纯净度和分析力。ATLAS CABLES出品的大部分线材，所用传输导体全部采用以OCC（Ohno Continuous Cast，大野长结晶连续冶炼）技术生产出来、纯度高达99.9999%、最大长度可达700英尺的单个连续金属铜结晶体，即OCC Cu单晶铜。整个金属铜结晶体内没有妨碍电流传导的裂隙，电流因此得以顺畅地通过而不被阻碍衰减。ATLAS CABLES线材所用的绝缘体，全部使用绝缘性能优秀、分布电容极小的特富龙材料，涂覆在导体上有助于导体中电子运动更为有序，具有减少电流损耗和保证信号传导之效果。传输导体与插头采用压接而非焊锡进行连接，将通常线材无可避免的焊锡与插头触片之间接触面和焊锡与传输导体之间接触面精简，只剩下传输导体与插头触片之间接触面，大大降低了信号在接触面上的损耗，信号中那些精妙渺微的细节因此得到最大程度的保留。         对铜（Cu）和银（Ag）这两种金属单质而言，在晶体结构相同的条件下，后者具有更为优异的电流传导性能。作为位居旗舰之位的ATLAS CABLES Asimi顶级纯银信号线，其传输导体使用了以OCC技术生产出来的单个连续金属银结晶体，也就是单晶银OCC Ag，纯度同样高达99.9999%，这是目前电流传导性能最好的导体。两条用以传输信号的主导体中心，是一条稍粗的单晶银OCC Ag单条导体，它被6股以12条单晶银OCC Ag细导线绞合而成、以FPE和纯棉纱作填充物、最外面包覆了绝缘性能更为优越且分布电容更小的微细泡孔特富龙作为绝缘材料。两条主导体之外，自内而外是两层以纯铜和纯银编织而成的屏蔽网，如此双重屏蔽设计可将来自外界的电磁干扰彻底隔绝，以保证所传输信号的纯净度。线身的最外面，包覆了一层非常致密而呈半透明银白色、柔软且极具弹性的PVC线与棉线混合编织网状护套，具有良好的避震和防静电功效。主导体与插头触片的连接，依然采用ATLAS CABLES所惯用和擅长的压接方式。钢钨色插头里，6个无压缩、免焊接、双屏蔽、自清洁、表面渗入了高纯度银晶体的齿状锁片，紧紧咬啮着主导体，电流信号最终能以极低损耗更顺畅地通过主导体与插头触片的接触面。         试听时，我选用了DYNAUDIO Focus 110A有源低音反射式书架箱，并以ATLAS CABLES Asimi顶级纯银信号线来连接Symphonic Line Vibrato CD播放机和Symphonic Line RG2 MK4前级放大器。一切妥当后，试听便开始了。         ATLAS CABLES Asimi顶级纯银信号线最引人入胜之处 ，就是它那明澈的透明度和高超的分析力。那感觉，就如于晴朗秋日的午后登名山之顶，近观色彩纷呈变化美妙的松林草甸，远望银装素裹终年积雪的雄峻山峰，俯瞰碧波粼粼迤逦蜿蜒的美丽湖池，仰视纯净洁白悠缓游走的清风流云，一切都是那样清晰真切。播放DECCA出品的2CD《罗西尼：弦乐奏鸣曲》（编号：443 838-2）和PHILIPS出品的《舒伯特：冬之旅》（编号：464 739-2）时可以听到，小提琴、中提琴和大提琴这种乐器琴弦的金属味、琴弓的松香味和琴身的木材味，还有钢琴琴弦振动所产生的穿透力、包着毛毡的击锤机所特有的暗哑感和琴体共鸣所产生的厚润感，以及男中音演唱时吐纳运声的过程细节，全部清晰而细致地呈现了出来。它们的量感恰当，不会带有人为讨好的倾向，在平淡中体现了真实与自然。令人赞叹的是，尽管细节很多，但音乐并不因此而显尖锐逼人，相反给人真实自然的感觉。播放DG近期出品的《佩蒂邦：红色；巴洛克时期的意大利咏叹调》（编号：477 8763）时，女高音佩蒂邦的歌声高亢和婉转兼备、飘逸和柔美并蓄，声线特质突出和演唱细节丰富，巴洛克时期女歌唱家的惯常演唱技巧传神地得到了呈现；她与伴奏乐队各自的声像与定位明晰而强烈，在音乐高潮处也丝毫不会模糊混乱，营造出逼真浓厚而令人信服的现场气氛。          ATLAS CABLES Asimi顶级纯银信号线，将音乐中的一切为我们悉数奉上。
