今天把转轴拆下来清洗了一下，看了看结构，有点困惑，这接触点怎么就是平面接触呢，和其他转盘的点接触不一样，有什么深意吗？又上网搜了搜，果然这样想的不是俺一个人，第五图就是网上的升级套件，有木有同学用过？      网上的升级套件  下面是引用的一些介绍和网评 EXACT AUDIO XTP301 UPGRADE THRUST PAD WITH PHOSPHOR BRONZE BALL BEARING for GARRARD 301.

The XGG gasket ensures your bearing does not leak (as it might with a felt one). It is 0.5mm thick as per the original part.
Due to popular request, two gaskets are now supplied, and additional spare ones are available, please contact me.
I have had trouble listing XGG separately, the trademark owner keeps objecting to ebay who then pull the listing without discussion,
even though it is just a pattern part.In the photo, just below the bearing is the new thrust pad with ball. On the right is the bottom view showing a through hole to
assist in removing the ball for replacement. The balls are a snug fit in a recess. The thrust pads are usually white, though I
reserve the right to supply them in black depending on availability.Towards the left, the picture shows the flat Garrard thrust pad from a 301 (oil version, loaned to me for measurement).
Forty years later, you can see a marks on the flat phosphor bronze thrust face, where the edge of the spindle has ground away.
This is not unexpected and is how it should be. The much smaller contact area of the new thrust ball will reduce noise and friction.
301s and early 401s with flat thrust pads will particularly benefit from this upgrade.
Good design has been practiced - where one bearing surface is hard, the other softer to optimise wear and maintenance.
It is not rocket science to see that it is cheaper to replace the ball rather than induce wear on the spindle.
Phosphor bronze is used as a bearing material because of its toughness, strength, low coefficient of friction, and fine grain.
The pad itself is non metallic, and reduces the transmission of noise from the bearing's thrust face.Beware! Ultra hard thrust balls, like ceramic or jewel balls will grind into the spindle and cause greater wear on the thrust face.
There might be an apparent sonic improvement at first, but I suspect that will be negated by potential damage to the spindle. To quote
from a thread about spindle wear on pinkfishmedia.net, "the words 'soft' and 'ceramic' are a contradiction. I cannot agree more, having
done some work with high alumina ceramics in the past. I have also had contact with customer who had his spindle repolished.Warning
- Garrard spindles are surface hardened (to HRC55?). Polish the thrust face too much and you are left with the softer core
which will be even more susceptible to damage.Perhaps the warning above is now redundant because of a recent Mk.2 version of a rival product.Each phosphor bronze ball should last several years, depending on use. When slightly worn, replace with the second ball.
If you feel up to it, try rotating the ball to present a fresh face to the spindle and get even more use. Extra balls are available.
URGENT! PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING.The pads' minimum dimensions are
Ø16.5 X 6.7mm high. I expect most buyers to "fit and play". If in doubt, please check your Garrard part first.
When measuring, please bear in mind that the Garrard part has a recessed thrust face - the new pad looks shallower, but the critical dimensions
are the same. So far there have only been very few problems. In both cases, the Garrard parts are different from the majority.
