Der Freischütz on LSO Live
Sir Colin Davis and the LSO's grand-scale account of Weber's tale of supernatural skulduggery certainly impressed the critics last April at the Barbican, and we can confirm that it's scheduled for release on the orchestra's own label in May. The impressive cast includes acclaimed Wagnerians Christine Brewer and Simon O'Neill as the star-crossed lovers Agathe & Max, Sally Matthews as the flightly Ännchen and Stephan Loges doubling as the prince Ottokar and the disembodied voice of the ghostly 'Black Huntsman' Zamiel. A new English-language narration, penned by Amanda Holden and read by Malcolm Sinclair, replaces the dialogue.

哀悼，20十多年前最早听西乐那些磁带，多数是他的作品。

致哀。非常突然的事情，维基百科上披露的消息是戴维斯的身体状况知道2010年他太太过世后才开始突然走下坡路。2012年5月在和德累斯顿排练时候病倒。去世前1个月指挥了最后一场音乐会（和一个伦敦的业余乐团）。唯一让人安慰的是，大师走得急，应该没有被病痛折磨。

沉痛哀悼大师的离去，他指挥的不少唱片及其作品真的是经典，永恒不朽！

大师走了，您就别拿死者做广告了，大师的布鲁克纳并不是最好的，他的强项是西贝柳斯、尼尔森、柏辽兹、莫扎特，3B中，他的勃拉姆斯也很强，但这个布七真心评价一般。
